Cameroon – Tuition free vocational training for women with disabilities .

The Regional Delegation of Women’s Empowerment and the Family and Socio Economic Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (SEEPD) Program of the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS) have launched a tuition free vocational training initiative for women with disabilities in Cameroon’s North West Region.The general public specifically women and girls with disabilities who have interest to access Vocational Training (VT) should register tuition free at the Women Empowerment Centers (WECs) nearest to them. The Women Empowerment Centers in the NWR of Cameroon, are found in the divisional headquarters – Bamenda, Mbengwi, Wum, Ndop,Fundong,Kumbo and Oku.
Interested applicants are exempted from tuition fee only. Other costs associated with the training shall be borne by the families and sponsors.
Where relevant, the SEEPD Program shall put in place measures to facilitate inclusive trainings at the Centers.
The registration documents include;

  • A photocopy of Birth Certificate
  • A photocopy of the National Disability Card
  • An application to the Director of the Center chosen précising the option of training
  • A photocopy of the highest Certificate
