Sisterspeak Amplify – Shero Acha Rita Agum

Today, we shine the light on a queen indeed, a shining beacon of light for Disability- Inclusive development in Cameroon, Acha Rita Agum

Acha Rita is a Disability Rights activist and an inclusive development program professional with over 10 years of experience in several local and international organizations such as Plateforme Inclusive Society for Persons with Disabilities, Promhandicam, IFORD, CBM, and Sightsavers. Her heart permanently beats for persons with disability and over the years, she has worked to ensure their inclusion, for which we celebrate her.

Through her work with several organizations, Rita uses her expertise to ensure that persons with disabilities have access to inclusive education, Inclusive local development, Inclusive eye healthcare, safeguarding, disability-inclusive disaster management and risk reduction, and political participation of persons with disabilities. She is passionate about policy influencing.

Please, join us in proclaiming and celebrating this unwavering shero of disability-inclusion development which Cameroon is blessed to harbor.
