Voices of Albinos

IMG-20160603-WA0001People with albinism face multiple forms of discrimination worldwide. . The physical appearance of persons with albinism is often the object of erroneous beliefs and myths influenced by superstition, which foster their marginalization and social exclusion. This leads to various forms of stigma and discrimination.
Sisterspeak237 ‘s Voices with Albinos amplifies the voices of albinos in Cameroon.

I would really like to hear the story of many more albinos. I too grew up seeing them differently but i knew it was wrong. I pray her story opens up mindsets so people know that skin colour does not make a person. Within, we are pretty much the same.

This is a laudable initiative Commy. We need to fight for the social inclusion of all persons irrespective of the “abnormalities” society has labelled on them. Most of them bear a stigma of what shouldn’t otherwise be a subject of abnegation. We must tell their stories!!!
